I have discovered that it is amazingly hard to lift my spirits by will.

Ten minutes ago, I came very close to tearing up my notes and punching the table into fragments.

Oh why why why why why why can I not remember things that I studied yesterday during a 2nd revision round but that others can remember from days ago?

I swallowed my bitterness, which made it rather impossible to study, so I’m now at the computer. I’m glad I did so *looks at comment box of previous post in glee*

This is the second time in a few weeks that cosplay has cheered me up so much. Two different groups of people; but I love you guys and I’m really glad you’re in my life.

It rained yesterday morning, so I actually went home at 11am and JOGGED, hoping that jogging would help me stay alert in the afternoon. Well, it helped a bit, but I still succumbed and took a nap, anyway.

It is amazing how drastic mood swings can be. I’m still trying to figure out the exact sequence with scientific interest, instead of blaming it on PMS, as too many females seem to do.

An update on the things that have happened in my life. I have suddenly lost the mood to blog, but I must do it before I forget the things that I want to say.

On Friday, my family left for Penang without me. A family friend wants to sell her Penang apartment, and Father is thinking of buying it, so they’re now there at the apartment. I remained in Singapore because I have to mug, and because there was Nana cosplay yesterday.

I think gfmozart was right when he said that it’s fine being alone if you have something to go home to. I’m really glad that I had company on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. (shopping, cosplay, school.)

Mother just called from the apartment ‘cos she’s all alone with GI upset while the others are out shopping. Whee~ I think she’s one of my best friends, actually.

There goes another part of my self-discipline. I got up early, so by rights should jog right? While waiting for my muscles and lung to wake up, I switched on the TV to set the timer for the VCR (I’m about the only one in this house who knows how to do it) and ended up watching “The Crosby Show – looking back” or something to that effect. After finally tearing myself away from the idiot box, I opened the door and cautiously sniffed (though people in Australia take in two huge lungfuls of morning air). It’s just too bad that cool mornings are cool because they’re exceptionally hazy. Then I slammed the door back shut. I tell you, it’s a reflex arc that only people in haze-afflicted areas have these days: smell–>nose–>olfactory receptors–>some tiny part of brainstem–>spinal cord–>arm muscles–>slam door.

Bottomline: I didn’t jog even though I woke up early enough to and the weather was cool enough to.

Side note: I think I just broke the tightrope I was treading on.

Well, I left school at 3pm today, after mulling about for 2 hours after lunch. I should have just gone home for lunch @(&*$#)@*$

So here I am at 8.10pm at my computer. I’ve been hit by a fierce don’t-want-to-study-mode-even-though-neuroscience-suddenly-looks-daunting-and-i’m-having-fun-this-weekend mood, so I meant to come online and watch American Idol at the same time. Then realised that AMI starts at 8.30pm today and not 8.00pm, but I don’t feel like going back to my desk. Can’t really watch anime either because I can’t watch 3 episodes of Samurai Champloo now, nor can I watch GSD 21 because I mistakenly deleted it.

*stuck*

I WILL STAY IN SCHOOL TILL SEVEN TOMORROW.
