[Thanks tally for the link. I don't want to know where you find such sites.]

And here: geeky pumpkin designs! There’s a gorgeous Death one, and a brilliant Vampire’s Kiss one.

Exit rounds ended at 4.30pm today. Well, we should’ve left later because everyone was waiting for a pre-op patient to appear at the hospital, but the registrar told us to go off first. I love the plastics team XD

I’m seriously thinking of doing Surgery HOship at NUH because of the relatively lighter workload. I can even go jogging after exit rounds!

People, please watch Baccano! It’s ending at 13 episodes, I think.

Btw, if you want the password to my protected posts, just ask me for it and I’ll email/msn it to you. Don’t pass the password around; if you haven’t the guts to ask me directly for it, I wouldn’t want you reading anything I write.

I don’t know what I’ve done to deserve this. For my birthday I’ve had 4 meal treats plus an assortment of presents, some of which will either land me in the dentist’s clinic or make me unable to fit into the other presents. This is really rather unprecedented. Thanks for making this a really special birthday, everyone!

Sashimi set

On Friday The CG Mate, YYY, IQ156 and I had lunch at Matsuo Sushi to commemorate the end of the Geriatrics posting. I always order the sashimi set whenever I’m here. YYY and IQ156 made that my birthday treat, very kind of them.

On Saturday, QY treated me to lunch at Sakuraya at The Village Centre, which is a few minutes jog from NUS.

So I spent the first day of my twenty-fourth year of existence throwing a childish fit in front of my CG mates. Sigh. I have to keep my temper in check even if I don’t agree with what others say or if they rub me the wrong way, especially if it’s over something so little.

I wonder why I’ve been so tired recently, despite having most afternoons off. So I’d go home, be really tired at 2pm, and nap for a hour, but wake up feeling just as tired. Then the baseline tiredness lasts till bedtime, but because I slept in the afternoon I have difficulty falling asleep. And when I wake the next morning, the whole cycle repeats itself. Gargh.

Anyway, I spent my birthday with AA and WT. AA’s the first friend I made in secondary school – yellowbirdie doesn’t count because we go back to primary school. Bought a pair of boots at Central while waiting for them (but they were severely discounted!).

Dinner was at Kyomomoyama. Photos below:

The first birthday treat was two days early, courtesy of The CG Mate. We’d previously meant to go to Bistro Petit Salut some months ago, but The CG Mate didn’t know where Jalan Merah Saga was. When we eventually found out that it’s actually just opposite Holland Village, I strangled him and then shot myself.

So, since I’ve always wanted to try French food:

Hello all,

Thanks for your birthday wishes and LJ spamming! I’m starting to forget how old I am and having to calculate my age from my birthdate. Thanks for treating me too, you wonderful people. It’s not solely the treat that matters, it’s the company and catching up, though doing it over good food is always appreciated.

Anyway, I was born on a Wednesday, and it’s a Wednesday again. Wednesday’s child is full of woe, as my colorgenics profile has gloomily predicted: (gacked from qich!)

OMG! The movie adaption of The Dark Is Rising opens this Thursday!
And as November approaches, the local opening of Stardust draws nearer!
And The Golden Compass will probably open in December.

It’s going to be a wonderful end to the year XD

P.S. So Dumbledore is gay. *shrugs* Does it even matter at all? I don’t get why some people are so traumatised over it. Either he’s heterosexual, homosexual or bisexual. He’s got to be one of them.

X JAPAN is reuniting.

Went out with lynn, min, ying and cvy yesterday for dinner. We ended up at Central for curry udon – no photos because I’ve posted those already. I think I’ll keep ordering the age-nasu udon no matter how many times I return. I want to try the cold udon the next time I go. Photos below!
