Sunday was an eventful day.

It is all qiong’s fault, as usual, for spamming me and getting me addicted to crack or equivalent. It happened with HD fics. And now it’s DBSK. I concede that they’re good-looking, sing well, dance well and generally have the whole package; but I don’t care for their music. So qiong hits my weak spots and spams me with all these hilarious crack dramas that they do.

Like this one (part 1, part 2) where they enact/parody a scene from The King and the Clown. I cried tears of laughter. (Please watch out for Jae Joong’s beautiful pose at 1:58 in the second part, he is beautiful as the queen in this one)

I am currently unable to utter a single word, and thus get rather irritated with my family members when they ask me questions that I can’t answer. Good grief, how hard is it to ask simple yes/no questions? And while we’re at it, “You’re not working tomorrow, right?” is NOT a simple yes/no question. Am I supposed to shake my head (No, I’m not working tomorrow) or nod (You’re right, I’m not working tomorrow)?

On to frivolous ramblings.

Hi all. I’m going to be majorly cranky till Monday at least. And I won’t be talking because, well, I simply can’t.

That’s all.

I’ve been down with fever, chills, rigors, headache and myalgia since last evening; so am on MC today. Am on call tomorrow! And since I’m helping out with the finals on Sunday, there’s a briefing on Friday, my post-call day, dammit. GARGH. I’ve spent today 80% asleep; hopefully I can make it to DMC later.

(It’s an occupational hazard that I keep flexing my neck every 10 minutes to make sure it’s not stiff.)

I am on call tomorrow.
It is the last day of the school holidays tomorrow.
Hell will be unleashed.
*groans*

Today’s sunset was beautiful. The sky was a dense fill layer of orange; fading to blue at the edges and marred by little wisps of clouds at certain coordinates. I wish I could have taken a photo, but I was in a car with raindrop-splattered windscreens.

In random news:
1. I am currently infauted with Kim Jae Wook after watching him in the Korean movie adapation of Antique Bakery. He can turn straight men gay.
2. I am slowly trying to organise my music library with proper tagging. I’m probably being too OCD about it.
3. I’ve reactivated my deviantart presence. Well, not that I had one to begin with, anyway.
4. I’ve replaced my radiobog with a box.net playlist. I’m still figuring out how to alter the song order, but I’m sure you guys will be glad not to have anymore autoplay when you browse my site.
5. I’m reading the Chinese translation of Akai Ito. The novel is sooo different from the innocent wistfulness and fairytale coincidences embodied in the drama. T_T

So we had the Baccano shoot at Old Changi Hospital on 14 March 2009. It’s hell to get to.

We weren’t alone. There was a group of Filipino photographers and models; though why anyone would want to wear pretty floral printed dresses and shoot amongst glass shards and low quality graffiti is beyond me.

Got this personality quiz from qiong. It’s really rather accurate!

It seems that Hello Kitty is the flavour of the year, what with M.A.C endorsements and all.

But never did I expect this:

X Japan ties up with Hello Kitty.

OMG.
Apparently Yoshiki likes Hello Kitty and took merchandise on tour with him. That’s fine in itself; hell, I can imagine even hide taking Hello Kitty things along. BUT! Vkei Hello Kitty is something…An Cafe would do? NOT X JAPAN!

Qiong says, “next they’ll have the sugizo hello kitty. and then the gackt hello kitty. and the miyavi one.
then they can do the SKIN hello kitty. and the MM hello kitty!”

Weekend doings, in no particular chronological order:
1. Mother’s birthday dinner at Crystal Jade. Plus icecream cake after.
2. Cut and dyed my hair at Shunji Matsuo. I had to wait half an hour before my turn, and then the cutting, dying, and treatment took quite a few shudderings of the hour hand. I was seated from 11 to 2.30pm; but they gave me drinks and changed the magazines every 45 minutes. I exhausted their supply of English magazines, finally getting to the Japanese ones in the last cycle. Anyway, it looks like this:
