Watched the Akai Ito movie when post-call, with lynn. It’s a retelling of the series up to their 16th birthday, but it was beautiful! The series had brilliant cinematography, which was finally got its due on the big screen. I need to go to Nagasaki, I really do.

Anyway, it seemed that most of the audience hadn’t watched the drama, so they were rather miffed at the cliffhanger ending. There was an entire row taken up by a group of fingers, around seven girls with one sole guy. As they got up to leave, the guy exclaimed, “And WHOSE idea was it?” *dies laughing*

Work has been hectic in waves. I’m spending way too much time at the gym; nearly fainted when the guy there suggested that I do 3 hours of cardio a week. NO! I need to go home, vegetate in front of my computer, watch crack vids, read crack fics, and make crack icons! I have to nourish my soul and fill my heart because my life’s really empty otherwise.

I’m getting soft and liking ballads, but DBSK’s latest Japanese single, Stand By You, is all understated glory.

(watch this NHK live peformance, really awesome.) The lyrics resonate; and I NEVER, EVER want to be in that emotional state again. I’d rather rip my heart out and replace it with a cyborg one.

It’s been a crazy few days, when the patients on my side suddenly became more complicated. My registrar had this look of doom on his face, which only served to accentuate that on my own face.

Was post-call on Friday, so I met Teresa, AA and Serbee for dinner, over which wanton remarks were made. I laughed my head off at the naming of Mr. Moon. If you ever find a guy named 黑暗 (hei an – darkness), tell me and Theresa’ll christen him Mr. Night on my behalf. Serbee is getting married, Theresa someday soon, and AA might just overtake Teresa. Me, I need to buy an inflatable mandoll to bring along to gatherings where my clique turn up in couples. Question for contemplation in the taxi we shared: would you tell your guy exactly what kind of ring you want, or let him surprise you?

Dinner at Food Junction, shopping at Daiso, then dessert/rosti at Marche.

On Saturday I went for a workshop in the morning, then got my hair dyed on a whim at Far East Plaza. Walked into Kleancut, the second hair salon I saw, because of the reasonable prices at surface glance, but I was soon enlightened to the fact that the only good red dye is L’oreal dye, which is expensive ANYWAY. *sighs* But it was the most fun I’ve ever had at the stylist. I brought along paper for folding lucky stars, which earned me remarks from the staff like “So vintage!”, “Dang I wish those were for me! If you give them to me, I won’t charge you!”

Good try, but the lucky stars have a higher mission in life.
