MUCC’s Freesia single is, as usual, a solid production.

Freesia, the title song, is usual epic MUCC; but very slick and probably sounds a lot more rousing live. The PV is astounding, with that giant wheel and the puppets on the instruments.

Freesia -Rhodesian Ridgeback ver. is a gorgeous, haunting piano adaption that I am determined to learn. (I only hope my hands are large enough.) This, rather than the original song, is the track I’ve been looping over and over.

Anime Festival Asia 2009. It seems barely a year since AFA 2008 where Tama came over from Thailand; yet AFA 2008 seems like a lifetime away already.

I was supposed to end my shift at 8am. But Murphy’s Law precedes all. Whenever I need to leave early, three cases will come into the resuscitation room at the same time at 7am, so T_T.

Got home, slept two hours, cut off the price tags from my Japan loot, and emerged all swathed in black. Met up with ying and ko and decided not to go into the event hall because the queue was disgustingly long.

It’s cool and quiet and breezy and I’m off shift and all I want to do right now is run and not stop running; but logic prevails because there’s M&M at 8am today, woe.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, i.e. Heath Ledger’s last work, with Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell staring as the same character in alternate dimensions.
This is definitely the next movie on my MUST-WATCH-BEFORE-DYING list. Ironically, the trailer ends with the line, “Nothing’s permanent. Not even death.”

So Friday is the day where I do the department pinato deal, as Taiko puts it, and I hope I’ll be able to concentrate and move on after that.

Just spent an eternity under a shower of water that was too hot. I’m so fucking disappointed in myself.

Home –> shower –> bed. I think I’ll be bypassing the computer for a few more days.

I wish I didn’t wake up every day feeling like I could use another hour of sleep or two, but almost everyone feels that way, so. Really shouldn’t whine.

Having palpitations and couldn’t swallow enough dinner just now. Night shift as the resus MO! -dies-

And it was good meeting up with you for lunch.

MUCC – Freesia.
The song is usual epic MUCC, but the PV is really astounding! Really love that giant wheel of time contraption, and the puppets on the instruments. Yukke’s styling is LOVE in this, and he’s on the upright bass XD
(p.s. the production is by ken of L’arc en ciel, hence the song sounds really, really slick.)

Plastic Tree – Sanatorium.
It starts off quiet, just Ryuutarou’s whisper-singing with heartachingly beautiful acoustic guitarwork in the background. Gorgeous, gorgeous muted tones in this PV; and that broken TV set floating around with the members in it is really cool. The bridge and chorus are standard Plastic Tree melancholy, though.

I’m starting my A&E posting today. Will
be MIA from you, world, for the next two weeks at lest while I try to survive.

Met up with ko and the rest for crab on Halloween. More later.

rie: I’ll try to email soon.

Fridge: miss you lots.
