It’s been a long time since I blogged. It’s so much easier to list random things in point form, so here goes:

1. I’ve been religiously watching Sunao ni Narenakute, a drama based on dive friends who met in Twitterverse and their various sagas (which are actually
rather soap-opera-ish). Nakaji and Haru are the real stars of this shoe and it’s such a delight to watch them onscreen, though their pigheadness and unstraightforwardness makes me want to tear my hair out. Nancy LINDA (his real name is Kaoru, rie) has a more subtle role but he’s so tortured and it shows in every little gesture. Peach is a strong chick. And Jaejoong as dear Doctor is just so adorable and earnest; hope he gets better lines, though.

I woke at 5.30am today, anxious and pulse racing, though I can’t for the life of me remember what I was dreaming. Too many things occupying my mind after for me to drop back into sleep.

I’m so tired now.

So we were on gchat while I was watching episode four.

rie: my friend tweeted this: 素直になれなくて ー 面白い話. what does the second part mean?
me: no idea.
rie: cheemness. definitely related to the drama.
me: i will ask min.

rie: min? as in changmin?!

me: NO. MIN. AS IN MY COSPLAY FRIEND. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

rie: ROTFL

Anyway, it’s omoshiroi hanashi! I didn’t know omoshiroi had kanji, lol. Thanks, min :)

My Twitter isn’t working.

I’ve done too many wrongs.
Too selfish. Too blind. Too inconsiderate.
If i lose what’s important to me, I’ll have only myself to blame.

I can’t fucking do anything right.

12 years on.

At a studio live in 1998.05.01. “Pink Spider” was never performed at a concert live; it wasn’t even properly released at the point of his death.

Thank you, hide.

I’ve been trying to figure out a way to backup the SMSes on my iPhone. I send over 900 SMSes a month (woe!!), some of which I don’t want to delete because I’m a hoarder. I’ve also accidentally deleted a whole collection of SMSes because my thumb was too big.

I’m not going to jailbreak my iPhone, and I’d like to do the backup without having to pay a cent.

Option 1: Free SMS iPhone Backup
This involves locating a really-long-file-name with the extension *.mddata or *.mdbackup file in the folder “C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data” after the iPhone has been synched to iTunes; and then uploading the file to an online converter to churn out an Excel file.

I can’t freakin’ find the file. That’s the biggest problem.

Option 2: TanSee Iphone SMS Backup
Paid option, US$19.95. NO WAY.

Option 3: SMS Export for iPhone
The desktop app is free, but the iPhone equivalent is US$4.99. Bastards.

Option 4: MessageKit
Available in the apps store for the iPhone, but it’s in German!!! Costs US$0.99.

-edit-
Option 1 worked!
Managed to find the file after all.
